Wedding of Paulie & Jake, North Shore Oahu

Paulie & Jake met at work in a restaurant and it was a classic love story. After being around one another for quite sometime, they finally went on a drive one evening and hit it off. Jake was shy to ask the vivacious Paulie out but when he did, she gladly accepted his invitation. Their love bloomed with full support of their families and friends. They balance one another perfectly and they both have hearts of gold. They share a sweet Golden Retriever named Blu who quickly became the star of their wedding party.

Paulie & Jake got married on the North Shore of Oahu at Owen’s Retreat. The grounds are perfect for a private beach ceremony and the reception can be held on their lawn. Showers passed through but the energy of the group did not waiver due to the weather at all. We started with a first look to get all of the jitters out and Blu joined for the first of many family portraits that would take place after the ceremony. The ceremony on the beach was beautifully adorned by the circle arch decked out in stunning fresh florals. The guests sat to watch the ceremony and there was not a dry eye on the sand after hearing Paulie & Jake’s vows.

After witnessing a heartfelt ceremony, family portraits were underway in between gentle showers. The bridal party was a blast to work with. Eddy & I worked like magic together as I photographed and he filmed Paulie & Jake’s special day. Their first dance included Blu dancing with them and how incredible is that? By the end of our time together, we felt like new additions to their family… just how we like it. We can’t say enough about Jake & Paulie. We know they will have the most successful marriage and we hope to see them soon on Oahu. Thank you for having us for your wedding day.
